We had a GREAT day at the State Music Festival in Minot today! These kids represented Scranton WELL! I am so proud of them and the hard work they have put in. We had 4 solos and ensembles perform and we came home with 3 STAR performances! 🌟STAR 🌟Superior Performances: -Clarinet Quartet: Emily K, Chloe, Emily C, & Monica -Chloe E Vocal Solo -Girls’ Vocal Ensemble: Ella, Kinley, Marketa, Talli, Karady, Kyan, Monica, & Sadie 1- Excellent Performance: -Brass Ensemble: Vanessa, Dani, Karady, Malachi, Ella, & Blake A huge thank you, also, to Charm Martian and Tera Fried for accompanying our vocal ensembles today!

2023 yearbooks are on sale for $30. Order forms are being sent home with the elementary students. Payment is appreciated with the order. The yearbooks usually arrive around the time school resumes in the fall.

Grades 5-6 Farm Safety Grades 5 and 6 will go to Hettinger today for a farm safety presentation. The bus leaves at 11:40 and return for bus routes. Mentors/Mentees Will meet this afternoon at 1:30. International Firefighters Day It is a day to salute the men and women who help keep us safe, protect our property, our communities, and our wilderness…and to honor the men and women who have given their lives in the line of duty. Congratulations to all students in the speech contest! Taking top awards are Layla Krinke, 1st place; Kiley Mausehund, 2nd place; Alyvia Kline, 3rd place; Tessla Stevenson, Honorable Mention and Isabelle Palczewski, Honorable Mention. Agri-Science Fair This Sunday with set up at 12:00, judging at 1:00, and open to the public at 2:30 at Scranton School.
