Book Fair The book fair continues all week.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Are tomorrow from 3:30-8:30. There will be a FAFSA presentation for juniors and seniors and their parents at 6:30 in the lunchroom.

Elementary Boys' Basketball The 5th and 6th grade teams play in New England tonight with a start time of 4:00. There is no 4th grade game. Dismissal is 2:35 with departure at 2:45 to meet the Hettinger bus at the junction. Good luck boys!
Book Fair Is all week from noon-4:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday's hours are noon-8:00.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Are Wednesday from 3:30 - 8:30. Elementary parents will have scheduled conferences in the classrooms, and grades 7-12 teachers will be in the gym.
FFA Some of the FFA students are at the national convention this week. Have a great week!

Job Shadowing The juniors and one senior are job shadowing today.
Youth Group Students in grades 7-12 are invited to youth group tonight at 6:30 at the senior center in Scranton. Supper is provided.

Congratulations to Kyan, Ella, Kiley, Talli, and Kinley for auditioning and being selected into choirs for the Northwest Festival of Music at Minot State University! The festival will take place November 1-2.

Picture Retakes Are tomorrow. Retakes will be available for all kids that were gone on picture day. If you are wanting to take retakes because of a photographer issue (lighting, composition of picture or technical error) those can be done FREE of charge. If you are requesting retakes for other reasons (you didn't like your hair, the color of the background, your pose, your clothes) please bring in ALL of your pictures in the package except your class picture tomorrow along with a $7 retake fee. Please contact Ryanna TODAY at 701-206-1036 to get on the retake list!

We're having a great day at the Surrounding the State in Song festival in Dickinson! The kids are sounding great and making some beautiful music!
The school pictures have arrived and will be sent home with K-12 students today. Retake day is this next Tuesday, October 15th. The following information is from Turbiville Photography:

Our 1st Graders read a book called "The Bad Seed" this week along with a nonfiction book about sunflowers! Josie's family sent us sunflower heads to investigate, calculate math counts and create an art project with! Thank you!

Homecoming! Pep Band will play in the halls right after lunch, and Olympics start at 12:30. Tonight is also Parents' Night with senior recognition on the field at 5:40. Kick-off is at 6:00 vs. Grant County. Lets' have a victory, Night Hawks! Thanks to the students and staff for the great participation in Homecoming week! A special thanks to Mrs. Erickson for your leadership this week!
Surround The State In Song Is tomorrow in Dickinson for the students participating in grades 5-7. Have a super day!
