Huge shout out to the community of Scranton. The snow removal team was awesome. All of the volunteers who jumped in equipment and moved the huge amounts of snow that piled up over the blizzard. On behalf of the Scranton School, thank you for all that pitched in yesterday to make the school accessible and to those that have been helping with every other snow event this winter. This is much appreciated and a reason why this community is so special. Thank you everyone!

Good evening, this is Kelly Pierce messaging from the Scranton School. There will be no school at Scranton tomorrow, Friday, December 16th. We will also not be going virtual tomorrow as the teaching staff was asked to prepare lessons for two virtual days, and tomorrow unfortunately would be day 3 of virtual classes. We want to make sure when we go virtual we have appropriate lessons and assignments planned. Take tomorrow as a snow day. Students help dig out, help a neighbor dig out, and take the time to thank a first responder. It is times like this week that make us who we are. We will see all of you next Monday and please stay safe.

Good evening, this is Kelly Pierce messaging from the Scranton School. There will be no in-person classes for Scranton School tomorrow, Thursday, December 15th. We will once again go virtual with our classes, so please have your children follow the protocol and check-in at the appropriate times. We need to have the students in attendance for these classes so that we do not have to make these days up later in the year. We had time to prepare for the storm so using our weather emergency virtual school plan can keep us on track to provide a positive learning environment during the blizzard. Hopefully see everyone back in the building on Friday! Stay safe everyone!
