There will be two JV quarters for the girls' basketball game in New England tomorrow starting at 5:30. The 5th grade girls' basketball players will play between the JV and Varsity games.

There will only be two quarters of JV girls tomorrow night (02/05/26) in New England. Games will still start at 5:30. It is Giving Hearts Night and all fans get in free!

The Hettinger-Scranton Nighthawks are looking for the following Spring coaching positions: 

Head Track and Field coach
Assistant Track and Field coach with an emphasis in throwing events
Assistant Track and Field coach with an emphasis in jumping events 

If you have any background or experience in these areas, please reach out to Jon Kohler at jon.kohler@k12.nd.us or Kirby Cagle at kirby.cagle@k12.nd.us to get an application.  Applicants must pass a background check, and become a certified coach per NDHSAA guidelines.

There will be no JV girls game on Saturday in Trenton. We will have JV boys start at noon, with Varsity girls then Varsity boys to follow.

With continuing sickness we are now only going to play a C squad game and a Varsity game tonight, February 3, v. Beach. Games will still start at 4:00, with varsity to follow at 5:30.

Due to sickness we will only play two quarters of C squad girls tonight. Games will still begin at 4:00 PM

Scranton FBLA is working towards getting to the State FBLA Conference in Bismarck at the end of March - we are almost there! By request, Butter Braids are back. Comment below if you would like an FBLA member to visit with you about what we have available.

Due to the freezing rain forecast for tomorrow, the JV boys tournament in South Heart has been cancelled.
