Let’s take a moment to celebrate the amazing journey of these young ladies! This 4x1 team was assembled a few years ago in 2021 and immediately had success. The 2021 season times and progression throughout the season: First race: 55.37 Second race: 54.24 (PR) Third Race: 53.85 (PR & got them to state at regionals) State track meet: 53.64 (Set the school record & PR’d) The 2022 season: Made it to state for the second straight season and ran a 53.96 which was close to a PR! THIS SEASON times and progression throughout the season: Tied the school record again with a 53:64 in Sturgis Set a NEW school record in Killdeer with a time of 53.12 Yesterday in Dickinson: These girls ran a 52.64 which pre-qualified them for state for the first time, set the school record AGAIN, and are sitting 15th in the state! These girls have worked so hard to get to this moment and all the credit goes to them! I think it’s fair to say that they were excited based on those smiles!
