Good luck girls! Elementary Football The elementary boys play Beach in Hettinger tonight starting at 6:00. Good luck boys! FFA Range Judging practice after school tonight and Thursday until 4:30. FFA monthly meeting - Monday at 6:00. Taco in a bag, hot dogs and root beer floats. 6:45 meeting with yard games to follow. All students taking an ag class anytime during the school year are invited to attend. FFA Glow Golf fundraiser sheets and teams are due September 19th. Those attending FFA Fall Leadership - bus leaves at 6:00 a.m on Saturday - going through Reeder, will return early evening on Sunday. Please submit $65.00 to Mrs. Steeke before Friday. Aidyn has his National Agri-Science Fair interview on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Will know a more scheduled time for interview when we get closer to the date. Daily Announcements, September 8, 2023 Football Varsity FB plays at Richardton tonight starting at 6:00. Please dismiss at 2:40 for a 2:50 departure. The JH team plays in Bowman tomorrow morning. Go Night Hawks! Congratulations! To the elementary football team on the win last night! Volleyball Varsity volleyball plays in the Central Cass tournament tomorrow, and will depart today at 1:30. The C team plays in the Bowman tournament tomorrow, and the JH plays in the Hettinger tournament tomorrow. Good luck to all our volleyball teams! Tail Gate Party! Next Friday, September 15, Scranton hosts Beach in varsity football action. AHOY, the parent group that sponsors the After Prom Party, is hosting a tail gate party. The three parents that head up the AHOY group have sons playing in the game, and would really appreciate if some parents that don't have boys playing, could help set up and serve. Daily Announcements, September 6, 2023 Medora Musical The Medora Musical trip is tonight for those students who signed up! The bus will leave from the school at 5:30 PM and return late(usually around 11 PM or later). Please be at the school before 5:30 so we can leave right on time. If you have not brought your $5 to Mrs. Conlon or the office yet, please do so today! Salads Salads will start tomorrow (Sept. 7)for grades 7-12. Please let your first hour teacher know if you want a salad for the next day. Pizza Next Door Pizza will open at 3:15 today, and have an after school special for pizza by the slice for $2/slice for the first slice, and $1.50 for any additional slices. This is open to any interested students. Pep Club Will meet today at 3:00. Student Council Will meet Friday at 3:00. Picture day is Wednesday, Sept. 13. Order forms were sent home with the students, and the background choices are on the Scranton School Facebook page and website.

The Junior High football game against Harding County has been canceled and there will not be Junior High football practice this evening.

Along with Glow Golf Scranton FFA will be hosting a Golf Ball Drop. To participate you will buy a numbered Golf Ball for $10. There is no limit to the amount of balls that you can purchase. Maximum of 500 balls sold. You DO NOT have to be present to win! The balls will be dropped from a pay loader bucket on September 23, 2023, the ball that lands closet to the hole will win $500 of the sales! If you are interested in purchasing a golf ball let one of our FFA members know or PM us here!
