Football Clarification
Two a day practices for football are required for high school players. If you HAVE to miss a conditioning practice for a legitimate reason make sure you notify the coaches and prioritize the 5 PM practice so you learn the X’s and O’s.
It is much easier for you to make up conditioning on your own.
12 AM on Thursday morning is the optional midnight practice (which counts as our morning conditioning for Thursday). A bus will leave from Scranton at 11:20.
The first regular practice begins Thursday evening at 5 PM for high school players. A bus will leave Scranton at 4:20.

Reminder that tonight is the parent/player meetings for all Fall sports. All fall coaches will meet at 5:00 in the Hettinger AV room. Parents and athletes will meet in the Hettinger big gym at 6:00. We are excited to see you all there and to kickoff the fall sports this evening!

Reminder the annual bus driver training is scheduled tomorrow, August 6th in Bowman from 9:00-noon. Any individual that drives a bus for routes or activities must attend a training annually. If the Bowman date does not fit into your schedule, there are other trainings in SW ND that can used. Registration for this training can be found on the following site: https://www.resp-k12-education.org/bus-driver-training.php

Look at that shiny hallway! Thank you to our custodians!

Reminder for everyone to stay off of the school playground until I put out the go ahead. Concrete is being poured and other construction is taking place! Will be ready to go soon!

The custodial staff will be waxing the main hallway entrance and the underclassmen locker hallway beginning tomorrow. All visitors should buss the office door and we will meet you there. If there is nothing urgent, please wait until Monday morning to come to the school. The staff can access the elementary end through the east playground doors and the high school staff can access their rooms through he west end. Please stay off of the fresh wax until Monday morning, but feel free to come work on your end of the building. Thank you.

2. Transportation to events will not be provided by the co-op.
3. Voluntary coaches for these sports will be needed for the 2024-2025 seasons. Additionally, according to NDHSAA regulations these coaches will need to be certified.
