Hot Chocolate Sales Grades 7-12 can bring a mug Thursday and enjoy a hot chocolate before school starts. Pep Club is sponsoring with a cost of $2 a mug. Food Drive Today is the last day to donate to the food drive. Please send your extra candy to school, it will be included in the soldier boxes. If the student fill the boxes they will earn 15 extra minutes of recess on Thursday.

Food Drive Scranton Public School November 1st – 4th Adams, Bowman, and Slope County Food Drive The food drive will be held at the Scranton School from November 1st-4th for kindergarten through the 12th grades, the community is also welcome to contribute. Some food items that are needed at this time are canned soups, pie fillings, beans, vegetables, fruit, meat, tuna fish, anything canned would work; bagged or boxed pasta, rice, cereal, oatmeal, and flaked potatoes. Any food or paper product that can be preserved on the shelf would be great. Of course, we will continue with the tradition of providing the elementary grade and the high school grade that contributes the greatest average pounds (and over 70 pounds) of food or paper products a pizza party… I smell pizza!!! The need is great and the workers few… Your contribution is greatly appreciated!

The Scranton FFA travelled to Indianapolis for National Convention this past week. They had a jam packed schedule full of sessions, shopping, and career fairs. Day 3 📍Toured a Caterpillar Manufacturing Facility 📍Toured Hummel Livestock 📍Visited Fair Oaks Farm 📍Arrived in Indianapolis Day 4 🐮Went shopping in FFA Mega Store 🐮Went to the Career Fair 🐮attended Opening Session Day 5 🌽Made Book-Pillows at the FFA Booth to donate to kids in need 🌽Went to Scream Park Day 6 🐑Went to Indianapolis Zoo 🐑Went to General Session 5 and watched Aidyn receive 4th place in Agriscience 🐑Went to General Session 6 and watched Kyan receive 3rd in Agriscience 🐑 Celebrated our achievements at an Italian Restaurant called Bocca and had an amazing time there! Day 7 💙Watched Abbi receive her American Degree 💙Began traveling home 💙Made another amazing Tik Tok check it out @scrantonffa2! 💙Stopped at The World’s Biggest Truck Stop Day 8 💛Traveled the rest of the way home Scranton FFA had a wonderful time at the Convention and will have memories that will last a lifetime.
