JH Girls/Boys Basketball The JH girls and boys play South Heart in Scranton tomorrow with the girls starting at 10:00. The order is girls/girls and boys/boys with the 7th grade girls playing two quarters only. Good luck to all! Ticket seller is Mr. Stuhaug. Concessions will be served by the students going to Europe next year.
JH Wrestling Will compete in the tournament at the Dickinson Middle School tomorrow. The match begins at 10:00. Good luck wrestlers!

Alzheimer's Presentation Student Council sponsored Alzheimer's educational event is tonight, November 15, at 6:30 p.m. Grades 7-12 will have a presentation this afternoon at 2:00. Please join us for an information filled evening provided by Vanessa Hoines, MS, of the Alzheimers Association. Coffee and cookies will be free will offering. Everyone is welcome please spread the word.

Job Shadowing The sophomores are job shadowing in Bowman and Hettinger today.
Food Drive Results from the recent food drive: Elementary, 3rd place - kindergarten; 2nd place - 6th grade; and 1st place - 4th grade. H.S., 3rd place - 8th grade, 2nd place - freshmen, and 1st place - juniors. Thank you to all who contributed to this worthwhile cause!

Grades K-2 participated in a national event called "How to Catch STEAM Week."
This event is based off of the series of books, and requires the creation of a character and the build of a trap to catch that character.

Congratulations to Ali, Kinley, Ella, and Kyan for auditioning and being selected into the Northern Plains music festival at Dickinson State University this weekend! Ali was selected into the concert band, Kinley was selected into the treble choir, and Ella and Kyan were selected into the mixed choir. Congratulations on all your hard work! 🎵🎶

Congratulations to Kiley for being chosen for the 2024 NDACDA Middle School All-State Choir festival! There were over 500 auditions from both class A & B schools in the state of North Dakota. Kiley will represent Scranton in the festival in Fargo in February. Kiley will also receive and award this year for being selected and participating in this festival for 3 years. This is an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations, Kiley! I am so proud of you!
Looking for a toaster oven and metal star cookie cutters to use for a craft. If you have either and are willing to donate for our crafting, please drop off at the school. Thanks for your help!

The Fall Sports Banquet is set to take place on Sunday, November 19th, starting at 5:30 PM in the Scranton gym. The Fall Sports Banquet will be an exciting opportunity to celebrate and honor the achievements of our cross country, football, and volleyball teams.
In the spirit of shared responsibility and community, we kindly request each grade to contribute the following items for this special gathering:
Seniors are entrusted with providing paper products, including silverware, cups, plates, and more.
Juniors will be in charge of beverages.
Sophomores are to prepare different salads.
Freshmen are expected to bring desserts.
Together, we can make this evening a memorable celebration of our athletes' dedication and success.
